Working with DISCO

DISCO.ac is a great resource for sync musicians to connect with and deliver tracks to music supervisors. TrackStage makes it easy to seamlessly incorporate DISCO into your workflow so you can reap the benefits of both platforms.

Once you have set up your DISCO Inbox in TrackStage, you can upload your tracks to your DISCO account directly from your Catalog - complete with all your metadata in place.

Set Up Your DISCO Inbox in TrackStage

Before you can connect your tracks to DISCO, you need to tell TrackStage how to find your account.

1. Sign into your DISCO.ac account.


2. Click on your Inbox.
   On your DISCO page, click on Inboxes > Inbox.
   
   



3. Click on the Copy Inbox URL icon.
   
   
   
   
   The Copy Inbox URL Window will open up with a unique link.
   
   



4. Click the icon to copy the URL.
   
   



5. In TrackStage, go to Artist Information in your User Profile.
   Click Artist Information in the dropdown menu from the User Profile icon in the TrackStage header.

6. Paste the link into the DISCO Inbox URL field.
   
   



7. Click Save Profile.
   
   
   
   You're ready to send files to DISCO!

Send Tracks to DISCO

1. Select the track(s) you want to send to DISCO.
   
   



2. Click on Send to DISCO.
   
   
   
   
   Two windows open - the DISCO Upload window and a window containing the file(s) you selected.

   IF YOU DON'T SEE THE WINDOWS...
   If you don't see the windows, then you likely have pop-ups blocked. Follow the instructions for the browser you are using to allow pop-ups from TrackStage.

3. Drag the files to the Upload Window
   Select the tracks in the Selected Tracks window and drag them to the File Upload drop region in the DISCO Upload window.
   
   



4. Complete the fields in the DISCO Upload window.
   Fill in the Name, Email, & Playlist Name fields in the DISCO Upload window.
   
   



5. Click Send Files.
   
   
   
   
   A confirmation window opens.
   
   



6. View your tracks in DISCO
   The files will upload to DISCO and you will get an email confirmation from DISCO when they are ready. It usually just takes a moment or two. You will know they've uploaded when you see the green notification by your Inbox on your DISCO page.
